Hi I'm Kory Seitz and we're the Seitz family. My wife Heather and I have been married for 19 years and for the most part of that time we've been starting and completing home projects. Our greatest creation has been our family which includes: three, travel-sport playing teenagers…along with our two golden doodles.
After graduating from IU in 2000, I started my own home improvement and maintenance business and enjoyed the day in and day out of working with my hands. In 2006 Heather and I got the bug to want to start flipping homes so I decided to get my real estate license hoping to have easy access for good projects to flip. Little did I know I was going to love the everyday life of being a Realtor. I maintained my home improvement business while gradually phasing into being a more active Realtor. By 2015 I had made the transition full time and now work out the Keller Williams Indy Metro Northeast office.
Over the past two years I've had the urge to bring my handyman business back to life as I want my kids to learn the value of being able to work with their hands. From my real estate prospective I know there's a major need for dependable and trustworthy contractors. You hear a lot of horror stories and see a lot of sub par work when showing a lot of homes. I also want to use this as an opportunity to offer work to high school and college age students as the business grows. As the head baseball coach at Hamilton Southeastern High School, I see a need for a flexible work opportunity for student athletes while also offering the chance to learn hands on skills they can take with them in the future.
Our niche is our monthly maintenance subscription service. Although we can take on larger projects, we feel that offering a reliable monthly service will be an excellent option for homeowners. They can trust that their home is being looked after and also keeping the to-do list to a minimum with our help each month.
